Pegasus Paper Products and the Tennessee 4-H Foundation are collaborating to offer county 4-H programs a fundraising opportunity. Pegasus is offering premium gift wrap products from designer Nancy Yonko to county 4-H programs at cost. Neither Pegasus nor the Foundation are making money on this program, but are interested only in helping counties with their funding needs.
CAUTION: If your county Extension office has already conducted two sales in the current calendar year, you should not participate in any additional sales (including this one) unless you want to be responsible for collecting and submitting sales tax on all sales.
How Does It Work?
It's as simple as 1, 2, 3...
1. County 4-H Honor Clubs, Horse Project Groups, etc. take orders and money from customers.
2. Orders are tabulated by 4-H agents/county Extension staff/volunteers and a total county order is submitted with payment at wholesale price to Pegasus. County order and payment should be sent to Pegasus no later than October 30th.
3. Pegasus ships order to county Extension office, where 4-H'ers and volunteers prepare each customer's order and the 4-H'er who made the sale delivers the order to the customer.

By collecting money for products in advance, ordering only the quantity of items needed to fill individual orders, and submitting a check for the wholesale cost of items ordered, county 4-H programs will make a profit of 50 percent of gross sale dollars. Counties will be invoiced by Pegasus for the cost of shipping the product to the county Extension office. Minimum order is $200 wholesale.
What Do We Need?
County agents need excited 4-H'ers who will work at showing friends and relatives the unique Pegasus Paper product line. Following are tools available to assist with the program:

1. Complete online participation form and submit to Pegasus.
2. Meet with 4-H'ers and volunteers to secure buy-in and set goals for the sale. Agents may wish to allow 4-H'ers to earn monies to apply to 4-H trip cost, etc.
3. Determine start and finish dates for the sale.
4. Send press release to local paper, radio station.
5. At the conclusion of the sale, tabulate total items needed to fill all orders, complete group order form and submit with payment to Pegasus. |

7. Have 4-H'ers deliver orders to customers.
